We at Washington Jade are rock and mineral addicts. We love rocks!And we love the search for rocks in our backyard.
Much of our time is spent in the beautiful mountains, rivers, streams,and canyons of our beloved state. We hope to share our jade findings and other local mineral info with you through this website.
We at Washington Jade believe in and follow a policy of full disclosure of known information about specimens. Although its impossible to test each specimen we do test as much as we can and post our results on this site. We try to include basic information on each specimen when possible. Care is taken to show actual color. JJA
What We Hope to Do
Our overall goal is to en-courage personal discovery of the paradise we live in here.
For those that can go we hope to entice you to go to the mountains and rivers and discover for yourself.Nature supplies what no book or computer can.Check it out!
Educational Institutions
We gladly supply small samples of jade to colleges and other institutions for testing and educational pursuits. We only ask that any results of work be shared openly with us and the public. Contact me for additional information.
